12V/24V Off-Grid Solar Kit · 1× Controller / 2× Panel · Basic
400W of Expandable Solar Charging From One Panel-and-Controller Kit
This configuration pairs two Rich Solar MEGA 200 monocrystalline panels with a single BRAVO 30 MPPT charge controller into a straightforward 400W charging setup — enough to keep a single 12V battery topped off in an RV, van, or cabin, with headroom to add a third panel later without upgrading the controller.

What Makes This Kit Different
Real headroom to expand
The BRAVO 30 controller supports up to 500W of solar on a 12V system — well beyond the 400W included, so extra panels can be added later without a controller upgrade.
Works with almost any battery
Auto-detects 12V or 24V systems and supports nine battery chemistries, including GEL, AGM, and LiFePO₄, with charging profiles tuned to each.
Keeps charging in poor light
The panels’ anti-reflective tempered glass holds output through cloud cover and low sun angles, not just clear midday skies.
Bluetooth monitoring built in
Check charging current, battery voltage, and system status from the Rich Solar app — no separate remote meter required.
Mounts in an afternoon
Fourteen pre-drilled holes per panel line up with standard Z-brackets, ground mounts, pole mounts, or tilt mounts.
Backed for the long haul
Panels carry a 25-year power output warranty and 10-year workmanship coverage — see Rich Solar’s warranty page for full terms.
Enough Power to Start, Room to Grow
A single 200W panel is often not quite enough to keep a battery bank charged through a full day of typical RV or van use — running a fridge, charging devices, and cycling lights adds up faster than one panel can replace. Pairing two panels with one 30A controller closes that gap without adding real installation complexity: one set of mounting brackets per panel, one run of cable back to the controller, one controller to wire into the battery bank.
Because the BRAVO 30 controller is rated for up to 500W on a 12V system, this kit isn’t a dead end. A third 200W panel — or a jump to a 24V setup with more headroom still — can be added later using the same controller, so the initial purchase doesn’t lock in the system’s final size.

Panel and controller specs are shared across all three configurations; it’s worth confirming current battery and inverter specifics with Rich Solar before ordering a higher tier.
Common Questions
Does this kit include a battery?
No — this is the panel-and-controller kit. Rich Solar sells a version of this same kit bundled with a 100Ah 12V lithium battery, as well as a fully complete kit that adds an inverter, for those who want more included.
Can I add more panels later?
Yes. The BRAVO 30 controller is rated for up to 500W of solar on a 12V system, so there’s room to add a third 200W panel — or more on a 24V setup — without upgrading the controller.
What battery types does the controller support?
It auto-detects 12V or 24V systems and supports nine battery chemistries, including sealed, GEL, AGM, and LiFePO₄, with charging parameters that can be customized per battery type.
How do I monitor the system?
The controller has a built-in LCD and LED display, plus Bluetooth connectivity for the Rich Solar app. A remote meter and temperature sensor are available separately for setups where the controller isn’t easily visible.
Do I need an electrician to install this?
Many RV and van owners install this kit themselves using the included cables, fuse holder, and mounting brackets. If you’re unsure about your electrical setup, a qualified installer is a safer bet.
